DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
The Falcon chair, designed by Sigurd Ressell in 1970s Norway, showcases an iconic design. It features a metal chrome X-frame and stainless steel clips that connect the canvas to the frame, creating a unique hammock effect for optimal support and comfort.

This remarkable chair boasts a leather cushion filled with comfortable silk and foam. The cushion is secured by leather straps that loop and snap through the steel clips. With a sturdy frame held together by eight steel bolts, the four bentwood legs are connected to a rectangular steel tube, ensuring long-lasting durability and stability. The chair is designed to be easily disassembled for convenient storage and affordable shipping.

Designer
Inspired by SIGURD RESSELL Sigurd Resell was born in Norway in 1920. Resell, started his career when a drawing for a competition was praised by Niels Vodder, a master furniture maker who created many fine works together with Finn Juhl. Later, a prototype was made from the drawing. In 1958, his SR 600 won an award at Copenhagen Cabinetmaker’s Guild Exhibitions for craftsmen in Denmark. One of Resell’s representative works, the Falcon Chair, produced by Vatne, a Norwegian furniture manufacturer, has been a long-selling item in Europe for over 30 years.
The Falcon Lounge Style Chair Ottoman is a tribute to him.
