ACCUMULATED DESIGN

Wegner designed the PP68 as his final basic chair. Benefitting from a life’s experience with furniture design, he was determined to let this particular design be guided by all he had learned from his previous works.

Comprising solid natural ash tree wood, this chair is designed to be comfortable in alternate seating positions, making it a delightful experience to be seated for hours.

The PP68 Style Chair is a comfortable dining chair suitable for long, cozy evenings around the dining table. As opposed to many of Wegner’s more elaborate models, the short armrests have been designed to enable them to, partially, fit under the table.

The PP68 Style Chair is a prime example of Wegner’s principles of simplicity, durability, and functionality. With this chair, Wegner managed to create an exquisitely comfortable chair with a tight and aesthetic design.

Designer

Inspired by HANS J. WEGNER DENMARK (April 2, 1914 – January 26, 2007) Hans J. Wegner is a name that stands out as the undisputable master of 20th-century Danish Modernism. More specifically, he was instrumental in developing a body of work known as organic functionalism. His early training included both carpentry and architecture before establishing his own furniture studio.

This product is a tribute to him.
